Lee’s Summit High School, home of Team Driven, is located in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, a suburb of Kansas City, Missouri.
LSHS offers rigorous academics programs with a specific program-of-study for each student including, but not limited to, communications, foreign languages, social studies, mathematics, science, art, music, business education, family and consumer science, industrial technology, health, and physical education. LSHS is one of a few schools in Missouri which can facilitate the International Baccalaureate program.
Other options for focused-study-programs include the Herndon Career Center, the Cass Career Center, and the Summit Technology Academy. Several Team Driven students are participating in the “Project Lead the Way” program at Summit Tech. Project “Lead the Way” is a nationally recognized curriculum program for those students who are dedicated to engineering and biomedical studies.
In addition to academics, LSHS students participate in robotics, sports, music, theatre, Air Force Junior R.O.T.C., plus many other extra-curricular activities and clubs.
LSHS maintains AAA accreditation with the State of Missouri and North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary schools. U.S. News and World Report has awarded Lee’s Summit High School multiple Silver and Bronze ratings as one of the best high schools in the U.S.A.
Since the inception of Team Driven in 2005, we continue to receive support and encouragement from our principal, Dr. Faulkenberry, faculty members at LSHS, and the citizens of Lee’s Summit. The Lee’s Summit School system maintains dedicated workshops for Team Driven and our sister teams at Lee’s Summit North and Lee’s Summit West high schools.
We, the members of Team Driven, appreciate that support and proudly represent our high school.
